This policy applies to GreenApp, published on Google Play by ButtonVPN. The app provides VPN connectivity and software license services under the ButtonVPN brand.
1. Data we process
To provide VPN access, license activation, payments and support, we may process your email, name and phone number (if provided), license identifier, payment status, subscription period, device identifier (HWID), selected VPN server, user-selected apps for split tunneling, connection events and support requests. Bank card details are entered with the payment provider, not in the app. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
2. Android VpnService
GreenApp uses Android VpnService to create a VPN connection when the user taps Connect. Traffic from user-selected apps may be routed through ButtonVPN servers. VpnService is not used for ads, hidden tracking, traffic monetization or selling user data. You can disconnect at any time in the app.
For VPN operation, IP address, connection time, selected server, traffic volume and diagnostic events may be technically processed. We do not store VPN traffic content, passwords, browsing history or page content. Messages you deliberately send to support are stored separately.
3. Purposes
We use this data to accept payments, activate and verify licenses, provide VPN connectivity, route selected apps, send service notifications, provide support, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and comply with law.
4. Third parties
Data may be shared with Robokassa, Google Play, hosting providers and infrastructure contractors only as needed to operate GreenApp, process payments, support users and comply with law. When you use the in-app AI chat, your message and limited license, payment-status and connection diagnostics are sent to OpenAI to prepare a response; our diagnostic payload does not include your raw device ID or payment identifiers. The support team receives the message and response through a separate Telegram bot. Do not send passwords or full card details in chat.
5. Retention and security
We apply reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure or destruction. AI chat history is retained for up to 90 days after the last message. Other data is retained only as long as needed for license operation, support and legal obligations.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data by contacting sup@buttonvpn.com. Some data may be retained where required for license operation or by law.
